RRápido (Spanish for "qquickly") is a software development methodology for complex web applications that are constantly improved. Its main objective is to achieve the highest possible speed for web development by utilizing:
RRápido's core is a detailed flowchart that makes it easy for all the people involved in the development process (from super users to coders) to determine what they have to do next and how. The chart is an activity diagram per UML standards. Everything is contained in just one document so that it can be printed and posted in a wall for easy access by the team. RRápido can be used by large and small teams.
RRápido was created in Torrenegra, but it has been inspired by many great ideas and tools developed by others. As a matter of fact, RRápido depends on many supporting methodologies, tools, and best practices as described below.

RRápido's activity diagram describes in detail the activities of some of the roles involved in the development process. One person can assume several roles. One role can be the responsibility of several people:
If you are wondering where the project manager role is, you are not alone. The project manager role is not described in the activity diagram not because he/she is not important, but because his/her responsibility in RRápido is to make sure that the methodology is closely followed.
Other important roles in the development process are the systems administrator and database administrator. Their participation is triggered by the developer role at anytime.
Many people have helped shape RRápido. Its most active contributors have been:
